Ubiquitous Energy: Revolutionizing Solar Power

Ubiquitous Energy is transforming the arena of solar technology with its patented UE Power™. This revolutionary system harvests energy from invisible ultraviolet and infrared light while letting visible light pass through.

UE Power™ employs a transparent solar coating created from light-absorbing dyes fouńd in natural materials, allowing for power generation in everyday objects like windows without sacrificing aesthetics and functionality.

The technology generates sufficient electricity for residential and commercial applications while promising a traditional window's high energy efficiency. UB Power™ pairs the functionality of solar power with the aesthetics of traditional surfaces, steering us toward a sunlit future of ubiquitous power.

Key points:

  • ♻️ The transparent solar coating is made from non-toxic, earth-abundant materials.

  • 🌞 Ubiquitous Energy's technology, UE Power™, can harvest energy from infrared and ultraviolet light while letting visible light pass through.

  • 💡 This technology allows for power generation on everyday surfaces like windows without affecting aesthetics or functionality.

  • 🪟 The transparency of this solar coating matches the premium look of traditional windows.

  • 🖌️ You can not apply it on existing windows since the coat is applied in manufacturing.

  • Not yet available for retail.

At the forefront of the microfiber pollution crisis, PlanetCare offers a pioneering solution with the world's first washing machine filter, halting microfibers by 90%.

Leave the Leaves

This is something that I noticed, particularly living in Canada. People rake up leaves and put them in big black plastic bags only to burn them and release CO2. Yes, I had to say this here.

It drove me nuts.

Only so that you can see that perfectly trimmed ‘green carpet’ of a lawn with no life left in it.

Mother Nature has always had a plan. Fallen leaves aren't usually a problem for lawns and gardens; they enrich the soil and maintain a healthy yard. They provide food, shelter, and nesting or bedding materials for various wildlife and insects, contributing to a healthier yard.

Leaves form a natural mulch that could suppress weeds and fertilize the soil as they break down, offering a DIY organic fertilizer.

Key points:

  • 🌸 For a tidier look, leaves can be raked into garden beds, flower beds, or used as a mulch around trees.

  • 🔄 Leaves can be a great additive to a home compost pile and can be used to cover layers of kitchen waste throughout the winter.

  • 🗑️ If local options allow, participate in leaf drop-offs where yard waste is collected centrally and turned into compost and mulch.

  • 🏡 If you're seeking organic matter for composting, mulching and soil-building, you can be a prospective drop-off location for neighborhood leaves.

So many good uses for leaves. I on my side prefer to look at a ‘messy garden’ with lots of life in it than a carefully curated dead lawn, but that’s me. What is your take on this?

Zero Waste Swap

Zero Waste Floss

Did you know that In North America alone, 4.7 billion disposable single-use plastic flossers are discarded each year, which is enough to fill 635,127 trash cans.

The U.S. uses approximately 3 million miles of floss annually,

Traditional dental floss is made from petroleum-based, non-biodegradable plastic (nylon), contributing to the growing problem of plastic waste.

But I don’t mean to scare you. I am here to offer you a sustainable solution, and believe you me, there are quite a few.

Key points:

  • fully biodegradable floss

  • eco-friendly packaging

  • reusable containers

  • good for your teeth and the planet
