Resolute Forest Products had to pay Greenpeace almost $1 million because they tried to stop Greenpeace from speaking out about the environment. The judge said that big companies couldn't silence environmental activists through lawsuits. This is important because it shows that companies shouldn't use lawsuits to stop people from expressing their opinions. It's a victory for Greenpeace and for free speech.
