For the past decade, I have deeply admired The Ocean Clean Up and its founder, Boyan Slat.

It's amazing to witness the amount of trash being removed from rivers and oceans. If you haven't already, I recommend checking out their YouTube channel. Additionally, if you're interested in learning more about who they are and their mission, you can read more here.

๐Ÿ›น Lander Skateboards are new, fun, and sustainable options for skaters, created by Ryan Anderson, the founder of RAD Furniture.

๐Ÿ† The innovative design and sustainability of the boards led to a Sports & Outdoors Award at the Core77 Design Awards in 2023.

โ™ป๏ธ Lander Skateboards are made from Recycled Nylon and long-strand glass fiber, sourcing and testing recycled materials was a main priority in the skateboards' creation.

๐ŸŒ Paris Trucks became the Manufacturing & Distribution Partner of Lander Skateboards making them globally visible.

Key points:

  • 100% recycled fishing gear + glass fiber

  • The material used in the construction of the deck ensures its durability, rigidity, and waterproof property.

Good On You

One of the most helpful websites I use during my research for ethical fashion brands has to be, hands down Goodonyou.eco.

As a zero waste blogger, I follow the ideology of avoiding excessive consumption, which aligns well with the principles of minimalism. However, to ensure that my product reviews are reliable and trustworthy, I frequently turn to Good On You for assistance in enhancing my content.

All you need to do is bookmark their website. Then, when you're considering purchasing new pants or a jacket and come across a brand that catches your eye, you can easily search for their name and view their ethical practices.

Key points:

  • ๐ŸŒŽ Good On You focuses on sustainable and ethical fashion, providing an in-depth overview of brands' impacts on the people and the planet.

  • ๐Ÿ“ They have a comprehensive journal encompassing brand rates, top picks, luxury items, and sustainability-related articles.

  • ๐Ÿ“Š The website ranks brands based on their ethical practices. They recently rated brands like Primark and Nike.

  • ๐Ÿฆ‹ They stand for being good on people, the planet, and animals.

Bidet

This might not be for everyone but trust me once you have tried it you never want to go back to conventional toilet paper.

I am talking about the bidet. When I traveled through Asia the majority of people dont use toilet paper but water. Now using a bucket or a hose may not always look as fancy as a bidet from whisper but it has the same effect. You are washing your downstairs.

When you touch dirt you usually wash your hands afterwards as well, right? How come we donโ€™t do that with our butts?
