Home Worm Farm
If you live in an apartment or don't have a garden or access to a compost bin, there's a good chance that your valuable food scraps end up in landfills. This contributes to the release of CO2 without contributing to the cycle of life.
If you compost your food scraps at home, you can even make money by selling worm juice or the worms themselves.
You can sell the liquid fertilizer and other byproducts resulting from discarded food scraps. It's alarming that worldwide food waste is around 40%, which is far too high.
If you recall the website I introduced in last week's newsletter, you already have one tool to combat this issue.
However, I want to give you another one—the indoor worm farm.
Sounds strange?
Having worms in your home may seem like a scene from Dumb and Dumber, but it's actually quite stylish and odorless.
Key points:
🪱 The Urbalive Worm Farm is an indoor composting kit that uses red worms to compost kitchen biowaste.
🌿 Perfect for households, classrooms, or offices and designed by renowned Czech designer Jiří Pelcl.
♻️ Composting via this method is simple and doesn't produce any bad smells.
📦 The kit includes trays for worm composting, a bin for liquid worm tea collection, and a tight-fitting lid.
🌼 The worm-generated compost (vermicompost) enriches soil with potent enzymes and natural growth hormones.
🍵 The liquid worm tea acts as a fertilizer packed with rich nutrients and enzymes that foster plant growth and fend off pests.
There are also different methods which I cover in this article.

Sustainable Activewear
It is commonly known that activewear is typically made from synthetic fabrics to enhance elasticity and sweat-wicking abilities. It is also important to note that the skin is the body's largest organ and can absorb chemicals from any products applied to it. However, there is no need to worry.
There are companies improving the way we do fashion, particularly in activewear.
